Assessment for Cloud Migration
The customer is a construction and architecture major based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It has been a proponent of incorporating cutting-edge digital technologies with building plans to inspire people into gaining unique experiences that stimulate creativity and increase productivity.
Corent’s partner used MaaS to deliver Cloud assessment to its customer. The partner scanned and assessed the customer’s datacenter using MaaS and generated detailed reports and shared the same with the customer.

Challenges:
Conducting an agentless scan across the IP addresses shared by the customer.
Assessing the customer environment and ascertaining the workloads to determine the feasibility for AWS migration.
Identifying the dependency between servers and ports; pinpointing the inter-server communication.
Performing an extended scan to identify the server utilization.
Charting an optimum plan for migration by creating suitable application groups.
Solution:
MaaS used vanguard as a bridge to perform an agentless scan which helped derive servers' metadata.
MaaS generated detailed reports which gave insights into the TCO. The reports also detailed the equivalence and best matches along with EOL Advisories.
MaaS identified the communication ports, process information, and process ID, based on which inter-server dependencies were identified.
Based on the extended scan results, CPU, Memory, and network utilization data were captured.
MaaS' Strategic Analysis Reports pinpointed the exact application groups primed for migration.
Result:
By using MaaS, the partner helped the customer to analyze its datacenter and formulate an optimum migration strategy for AWS Cloud.
